Centering prayer is described by Contemplative Outreach of New England as "a renewal of traditional prayer of the Church leading to contemplation. It is a form of prayer without words and centers attention on God's presence within, and moves on to discover His presence everywhere else. Centering prayer is a way of letting go in order to find God in our center." The Centering Prayer group meets in the Quiet Room Tuesdays at 9:30am.
